Guys, I have been waiting for this product. If you say there is no innovation happening in smartphones. But there is innovation happening in laptops, especially from ASUS’s side. They have amazing premium laptops. Zephyrus, Pro Art Series whose videos we have done. But this one is the largest foldable laptop. “Foldable” The screen is of 17.3″ which folds. Today, we’ll do it’s review. I am excited. It just gives you a peak into the future. Okay. Let’s open the box, it’s a big big huge box. It’s a big box, guys. The laptop is also big. There are various interesting things in this. Oh! What is this? and then documentation. OK. Let’s keep this aside, guys. Warning! It’s a documentation. Yes, you need to read it. If you buy— oh. *laughs* Oh my God, look at this. It’s only the keyboard, the bottom part of a laptop. We’ll see. And then you have a nice case. It’s good. Wow! look at this. Ok, we’ll keep this away. Let’s open this. Fold, fold, fold. OLED! Fold OLED. Oh my goodness.
What is this? Oh! Oh my god! Guys, this is a phone. Just to give you idea about the size of this laptop. Look here. I wanted to do that. What else is there? Ok, there’s a 65W charger. A power cable. And you have an USB type-C to type-A adapter cable. Alright, that’s about it. What else is there? There’s some more documentation. And… is there something else? I think this is the stand, right? This is the stand. Alright. We’ll see this, too. Is there anything else inside? Nothing is on the inside, guys. Oops! *laughs* Alright, my goodness. How seamless it is. Take a look. This is absolutely beautiful. It means that so much of engineering is in this. So much effort must have taken place. And this is your 12.5″ laptop. And if you remove this, it’ll become your 17.3″ tablet. The tablets nowadays, for example, We tell the 12.9″ tablet, a big screen tablet. And look at this, oh my goodness. This is absolutely phenomenal! This is an A4 sized paper. Just to give you an idea, look at this. It is so big. I mean this is kind of a canvas. And, guys, if I close it, it is this small. But it sure is thick. Abd basically there are 2 hinges.
This one is the top one and there is one below the display. If you take it in hand, you won’t feel like it’s flimsy. It is very very well built. In fact, the ASUS laptops are generally of good build quality and this one is no different. It is an engineering-feat for sure because despite being foldable it feels very sturdy in hand. Let me put it in this. *laughs* This is good. This. Is. Good. If I talk about the weight, guys, yeah it’s not light, obviously, since this is a big laptop or rather a tablet I’ll say. This should be.. Wait a minute. This should be about 1.8kg? 1836g. I didn’t know it. You might be thinking I knew but, no, I don’t see the weight beforehand. 1836g. It’s 1850g approx. Which I think isn’t too much, for a laptop like this. If I talk about it’s build material, then it’s made of Magnesium Alloy. And this hinge has get leather finish. You also get a kick-stand on the back. If you’re consuming multimedia then it’s of a very good use. I’ll show you, first, let me remove this. And now look at this kick-stand. It’s like a TV! That too an OLED one. Talking about the display, guys. If you open it fully, you get a 17.3″ display. It is a FHD+ display with 500 nits brightness. It’s OLED with 4:3 resolution, no, I’ll say, aspect ratio. 4:3 aspect ratio. When you open it in the laptop form, it is 3:2. 4:3 & 3:2.
There might be an interesting thing since it is such a big display. The pixel density might be a little less. It is an OLED display so the colours look really good. I know you want to experience the multimedia experience. I’m going to show it to you. Okay. It’s a completely different experience. ♪ music ♪ If I talk about the multimedia, this is an OLED screen, ASUS says it’s FOLED, i.e. Foldable OLED. Blacks look pitch black & the colours look absolutely great. There is Dolby Vision support. Due to the big form factor, there is space for the audio, that’s good, too. So, the multimedia experience is absolutely phenomenal. Yeah, it comes at a cost, obviously. But it is, I mean, wow! By the way, guys, multimedia is good but the if you want to do gaming, you’re going to enjoy it. One thing, guys, if you’re paying a premium price of ₹3 Lakh and getting 60Hz screen, but if it was 90Hz, that would be better. But again the gaming experience is very good. Especially because this is a performance tablet-laptop, or whatever you want to call it. Because it has Core i7 12th Gen. There is 16GB DDR5 RAM. And talking about the SSD, it is the fastest SSD. Do you know the read-write speed, it is 6GBps. Guys, if I talk about the battery, it is of 75Wh with a 65W charger. ASUS claims that the battery will last up to 8-9 hours.
